Joe Lamonica, our owner, is a hands-on builder who is on the job every day, spending much of his time working right alongside his team. Consulting

We offer our services as a consultant to assist in the design of a project between the home owner and the architect and the engineer. Many times we have been able to save the home owner money on the building process by offering our advice to the architect and engineer on how we would like to build a project.

Permit Process

Obtaining the proper permits can be a tedious and time consuming process. We understand that many of our clients are unfamiliar with which of these documents are necessary and Tahoe Custom Builders is pleased to go through the permit process for our clients, saving them both time and peace of mind. We will ensure that the correct documents are completed for government agencies such as the Health Department, TRPA, the Coastal Commission, and the Architectural Committee.

Progress Reports

We believe in including our clients in the construction of their project. We will provide updates on both the construction process and the budget on a monthly, weekly, or daily schedule.

Interior Finish Work

Tahoe Custom Builders specializes in providing unique interior finish work. A custom home is made up of all its parts. By understanding which interior finishes are to be used in each home we build, we can carefully plan and construct the foundation, walls, and rough structure to ensure that all finishes like cabinets, moldings, and doors turn out right. We will also provide shop drawings for cabinets and moldings as needed.
