Owner

Joe LaMonica is the owner of Tahoe Custom Builders, formerly known as LaMonica Construction. Joe has worked in construction for most of his adult life. Before becoming a licensed contractor, he was a carpenter and then a superintendent for many years. Joe started out of Massachusetts before moving to Southern California where he was involved in several high-end, custom homes and commercial projects in the Palos Verde and South Bay Beach areas. Joe obtained his license in 1984 and has since become one of the premier builders in the Lake Tahoe area.

Throughout the years, Joe has built hundreds of homes, owned and operated his own custom millwork shop, and earned the respect of his fellow custom home builders. In 2002 Joe was awarded the Award of Distinction from the Washoe County Design Commission for a home built in Incline Village, NV.
